"Money isn’t lost or made. It is simply transformed from one perception to another." -- Michael Douglas, from the 1987 movie –WallstreetOliver Stone, who wrote the screenplay of that movie, could easily proffer the idea that money is just a matter of perception because he is looking from the vantage point of the wealthy and the famous of Beverly Hills. But for an average income earning employee, money is more than a perception –it is a reality. The lack of it could mean hunger for the family he fends or the break-up of same family. I have watched families being torn apart because of the lack of it or the want of it.
Money is not simply a perception. Money is a medium of survival. The lack of it is not an easy predicament. The relief though, nowadays, one who faces a financial crunch is offered with an array of loan options.
Money is lost and is made. It is not a perception. The lack and want of it is a living reality that confronts us all.
