Choices and Freedom

"Freedom is not merely the opportunity to do as one pleases; neither is it merely the opportunity to choose between set alternatives. Freedom is, first of all, the chance to formulate the available choices, to argue over them -- and then, the opportunity to choose." (C. Wright Mills)
The freedom of choice innate in us means responsibility and the greatest of which. anything can be taken from except this freedom. We are in total control of the choices we make. I know that sometimes or more often for some of us, it is not easy. Sometimes we are merely forced to, because of uncontrollable circumstances (like fate?). No matter, it is inescapable, we hold the responsibility for the choice we make -none other.
