Random Four: A Child's Play

You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance. ~Franklin P. Jones
I was watching my son intently as he plays with his building blocks. You can almost feel the intensity of his seriousness towards what he was doing. Really. To us, it might just be a simple child's play, but for children, it is serious work. Have you thought of that? It is in playing that children first learn the view of hardwork, patience, and fun -all at the same time.
A three year old child is a being who gets almost as much fun out of a fifty-six dollar set of swings as it does out of finding a small green worm. ~Bill Vaughan

  1. Very nice blog. I'll be back again. I'm a single parent too, and my daughter is 2 and a half. So we have a bit in common. Your posts definitely speak to me. I know what you mean about intense play. My daughter gets that way when she drums and when she "reads" a book.

By the way, I found you from Entrecard.
