Easter morning is the most significant event in the whole Christendom. For here, the very fundamental tenets and foundation of Christianity rise and fall. Here, Christ was vindicated. Here, Christ proved once and for all that he is not just a savvy carpenter or the son of a carpenter from an obscure Jewish town. It also dispels the common notion: Is there something good comes out of Nazareth? His passion, death, and undeniable resurrection on the Easter morning proclaims to the world that he is our Savior and He is the Son of God –and is GOD himself in the resurrected flesh. With that, hope springs eternal for all of us.
The religious leaders and authorities of the day have to plug the event. They have to silence the people from further heralding the miraculous. So, they spread the erroneous news that the dead body of Jesus was stolen by his disciples so that his followers will cease to beleive. It was so presumptuous of them. But his disciples will never be silenced forever. As a result, Christianity became a ‘love-power’ to be reckoned with. And it continues to change lives.
I was once a doubting Thomas, now I am a believer.
Happy Easter everyone!
This has been a very encouraging post. It's great to hear people's love and faith in Christ.
ReplyDeleteI, too, was a doubter, but worse - I was Anti-Christian. 4 years after finally believing in Him, I gave my testimony to my church's 3 easter services... it's been an incredible experience. At least 12 people accpeted Christ that day and it's humbling to be part of God's plan.
Keep pressing on and God bless.
Thanks mewie ^^,
ReplyDeleteI felt, it is but appropriate for the occasion as many tend to neglect or move away from the real essence of easter.
God bless!
I am glad to know that you are a believer =) Keep the faith!
ReplyDeleteGod's love ENDURES forever!
I was anti-Christ when I was a teenager. I always challenged the girl who sat beside me in class.
ReplyDeleteWith Jesus' resurrection, we serve a living God and that is the meaning of Easter.
Happy to see that u are part of the family.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, a lot of us have been down that path of doubt b4.
But the good thing is...
That are days ahead will just get better!
Be Blessed

ReplyDeleteThis is a great post.
ReplyDeleteGod has worked so many miracles in my life. Some might not think so because I am divorced and a single mom. But I am happy in my life. I owe that to God and prayer.
Thanks so much for sharing. In a world that seems to be turning against Christianity, it makes me so happy to find posts like these.
Thanks Happy ^^,
ReplyDelete@ April
From time to time I feel obliged to share a bit how I see bits and pieces of the Christian life to remind myself, and probably others.
Thank you for the kind words April. God bless! ^^
