Waiting

waiting, Lord give me patience, I want it now!How many of us are guilty of praying like this:

"Lord, give me patience, and I wan it NOW!"

Funny huh, but so true. We simply hate to wait.

To tarry. To expect. To be patient. To delay. To hesitate at times. To hang on there. To hope. To have faith. That is waiting.

Waiting sounds easy, but, in reality, it is difficult. Partly to be blame is technology, IMO. For we now live in a world where everything is 'INSTANT.' From instant coffee to instant weight loss, from instant wife (e.g., bride-order over the net) to instant divorce, from instant online business to instant riches, etc. -we simply hate to wait. We hate to queue in a long line, for it tries out our patience in an awkward way. We want things now.

Ironically, life makes us wait all the time. Yeah -ALL THE TIME! We don't reap what we sow now, but later or maybe, never. We don't mature overnight, fro this takes time, learning, and experience. We don't become an expert of something overnight, unless we practice over and over again. Thus, there we abhor waiting. We are always on the search for 'short cuts', 'instants' and 'RTW's' or 'ready to wear' things.

Why don't you pause awhile. Take a little time to think or ponder. Waiting is a powerful ally my friend. We would have avoided mistakes and wrong decisions if we have waited a little longer. For to wait is to hope, and to hope is to expect, and to expect is to have faith. Try to wait a little while, okey.

Wait.
