Fathering is fun. Other than the weight of the responsibilities of rearing a child alone, fathering is a privilege and a very exciting job. If not for the need to work, I’d probably choose to spend all my time with my son. I am afraid, it were not so. Nonetheless, I savor every hour and minutes I have with him in spite of the ‘hyper-activity’ he’s displaying lately.
Sometimes working at home on a tight deadline is difficult when he is around in my little home office and punching those keyboard keys. ^^, He’s too young for a pc of his own. What could be the best gift for him this Christmas huh? I’ve thought originally of dragons figurine or robot toys, but I really don’t know if he can really appreciate them.
Thankfully, browsing the online catalog of Mega Brands, I’ve found the perfect toy set for him. Voila! The CAT WorkBench! It’s perfect! See that picture up there? With that, not only would I prevent him from tapping my laptop’s keyboards, he will be busy in his own world on tinkering something. Not only that, this is the ideal toy that can give him the right experience to exercise and develop his creativity and imagination. Amazing huh.
*Forgive me if I talk too much about my son here, and also for not posting any picture of him (as much as I wanted to, a court order due to child custody would not allow me).
