A Howling Wind

Last night, I was kept awake by the ‘howling wind’ that relentlessly sweeping our neighborhood. The moon is so pale, the night so dark, I can’t barely see anything outside. I just kept hearing the wind howling outside, that is, even after I have already bolted all the windows. Rain was sporadic. It feels like there is a storm brewing but there is none. I just found comfort in looking at my son who is sleeping peacefully like an angel in spite of what is going on outside. Now, I realized that I should have bought and installed those HID (High Intensity Discharge) equipment lights on the front lawn so that I have something to use in a night like that.
