Boredom sometimes can hit you when least expected. And more often, it is so hard to get out of this rut. How I wish that it would have been simple, and take this like how Aldous Huxley describe it when referring to the ‘true traveler:’

You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.However, there are many things that we need to do even if we do not want to do them or do not feel like doing them. Motivation does not impel us to do anything every time. There are other reasons.
So, how do you enliven yourself when boredom hits you and you feel like so unmotivated to do anything at all?
I have found that my boredom goes up and down. For 3 days I will be %110 focused and motivated and then Day 4 comes and I'm sitting on the couch and loose my momentum. How I get past this I still have not found out but I'm open to suggestions.
ReplyDeleteWhen I feel unmotivated, I watch music videos (inspirational videos @utube). It helps lift up my spirit and thank God that I am well and alive.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I sing a lot when I am sad, upset or even after crying (frustrated singer hehe).
Boredom can hit us real bad but when you know how to handle it well; it can help us in so many ways.
