Faith, Love, and Kindness

Faith allows you to see the good in bad things. It allows you to look at your miseries with hope that there is a kind and almighty God who will see you through all these ugliness. Understandably, this is weakened when crisis after crisis hit us the hardest, and when we are not most prepared. Faith strengthens us. It is actually the wind beneath our wings. Hold on.

Love is the best gift that anyone can get and give. Cherish it and nourish it. It's not simply a word or a concept. It goes beyond the tried philosophies we espouse. It is real. It transcends time and space. It enlivens. It gives hope. It rekindles faith.

Kindness is the expression of love and faith in action. You cannot say that you love your neighbor and in dire needs you look the other way. It is the manifestation that you indeed knows how to love. Give it generously, and expect no returns.
