Affiliate Marketing

I am still considered a novice in internet marketing. In fact, I haven’t earned a cent in all those affiliate network I joined. However, I am not quitting. I am still trying other methods and affiliate sites.

By the way you might ask, what is Affiliate Marketing. By strict definition, it is actually revenue sharing between online merchants and publishers, whereby compensation is based on performance measures, typically in the form of sales, clicks, registrations, or a hybrid model. Simply means, you get a commission for every referrals you make or products you sell online via a network and sometimes directly from the merchant itself.

Incidentally, Pepperjam is one of the pioneers of affiliate marketing having started out as an affiliate and then successfully building one of the largest, most respected and recognizable full-service internet marketing agencies in the United States.

What are the benefits of joining an affiliate network like Pepperjam? Usually it includes the potential for automating much of the advertising process (accepting & approving applications, generating unique sales links, tracking & reporting of results) and payment only for desired results (sales, registrations, clicks). So basically, again, you do not need to have a product of your own and even handle the hassles of monitoring your sales. Those were being taken care of by the merchant or affiliate network. As a blogger, you will just basically concentrate on building powerful and informative content, traffic generation, and promotion.

Good luck!
